Entry Zangmu - Exit Zangmu

For almost 12years, Himalayan Guides has catered the needs of mountaineers climbing Mt. Everest in a professional and committed manner. Having a good experience in expeditions to Mount Everest , the company manages yearly the logistics of some expeditions teams from all parts over the world. Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world. Its elevation of 29,035 feet (8,850 meters) was determined using GPS satellite equipment on May 5, 1999. The new elevation has been confirmed by the National Geographic Society. (Chomolungma, Goddess Mother of the World)

Itinerary

Day 01       Arrival Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Day 02       Kathmandu. Briefing and shopping.

Day 03       Kathmandu.

Day 04       Drive to Zangmu (2350m). Overnight in hotel.

Day 05       Drive to Nyalam (3750m). Overnight in hotel.

Day 06       Nyalam, acclimatization day.

Day 07       Drive to Shekar (4250m). Overnight in hotel.

Day 08       Shekar, acclimatization day.

Day 09       Drive to Base Camp (5200m).

Day 10-12  At Base Camp

Day 13       To intermediate camp (6200m).

Day 14       At Advanced Base camp (6500m).

Day 15-53  Climbing Period.

Day 54       Back to Advanced Base Camp.

Day 55       Return to Base Camp.

Day 56       Cleaning Base Camp.

Day 57       Drive to Nyalam

Day 58       Drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Day 59-60  Stay in Kathmandu.

Fly Lhasa - Exit Zangmu

Itinerary

Day 01       Arrival Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Day 02       Kathmandu. Briefing and shopping.

Day 03       Kathmandu.

Day 04       Fly to Lhasa (3600m). Overnight in hotel.

Day 05       Lhasa, visit Drepung and Sera monasteries.

Day 06       Lhasa, visit Potala, Jokhang and Barkhor.

Day 07       Free day in Lhasa

Day 08       Drive to Shigatse (3900m). Overnight in hotel.

Day 09       Drive to Shekar (4350m). Overnight in hotel.

Day 10       Drive to Base Camp (5200m).

Day 11-14  At the Base Camp

Day 15       Trek to intermediate camp (6200m).

Day 16       Advance Base Camp (6500m).

Day 17-56  Climbing Period.

Day 57       Return to Advance Base Camp.

Day 58       Return to Base Camp.

Day 59       Cleaning up Base Camp.

Day 60       Drive to Nyalam. Overnight in hotel.

Day 61       Drive to Kathmandu. Transfer to hotel.

Day 62-63  Rest days in Kathmandu.

Day 64       Departure from Kathmandu.

Cost includes:

  • 5 nights accommodation in Kathmandu with bed & breakfast (3 star hotel).
  • Expert professional Nepalese expedition crews like Cook, Kitchen boy, ABC guide and mountaineering gears till to the ABC are provided; and our crews get all expedition facilities from our office itself.
  • Tibet visa & Travel Permit for the expedition crew
  • Full board hotel in route to Tibet side Lhasa, Gyantse & Tingri & Zhangmu (bed & breakfast, Lunch, dinner)
  • Base Camp - Advance Base Camp 1 tent for 1 person (North Face brand)
  • Dining tent, Table, Chairs, toilet tent, Mess tent & Kitchen tent
  • Per person's (50 KG) Load is carried by the Yak till to the from Base Camp to ABC
  • Per person's (40 KG) Load is carried by the Yak on the way back to the ABC to the BC
  • Kathmandu - Lhasa fly & drive to (vice versa) are provided the Mini bus/Jeep for the members& Truck for the equipment
  • Peak permit for Everest North Col 8848m.
  • Tibet Visa & Travel permit
  • Liaison officer & Interpreter

  • ABC - Oxygen for Emergency but you must pay for its use.
  • Satellite phone (Pay call).

  • Air travel to and from Kathmandu.

  • Laundry, postage, telephone calls, and all other items of personal nature.
  • Entry visa and Re-entry visa for Nepal.
