In Chitwan there is two kind of resorts
     1. Inside the National Park &
     2. Out side the National Park

There is only cost different between inside & out side park but the program will be same.

PROGRAM: (Sight Seen & Jungle Safari)

Day 01	Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Day 02	Sightseeing in Kathmandu, Durbar Square and Swayambhunath.
Day 03	Sightseeing in Patan and Pashupatinath Temple.
Day 04	Sightseeing in Dakshinkali, Shes Narayan, Chovar and Kirtipur.
Day 05	Drive to Pokhara.
Day 06	Sightseeing in Pokhara.
Day 07	Drive to Royal Chitwan National Park. Transfer to Machan Wildlife Resort and overnight.
Day 08	Jungle activities in the National Park.
Day 09	Jungle activities and afternoon drive back to Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. (YOU CAN EXTEND ANOTHER TWO DAYS IN NATIONAL PARK - PROGRAM IS BELOW)
Day 10	Sightseeing in Budhanilkantha, Boudhanath, and Sankhu.
Day 11	Free day in Kathmandu.
Day 12+2= 14	departure.

TENTATIVE PROGRAM BASED ON FOUR NIGHTS / FIVE DAYS AT MACHAN WILDLIFE RESORT CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

Day 01

Pick - up by landrover or elephants at the roadside village of Sunachuri which is 2.5 km. from our Resort. Upon arrival, lunch will be served, rooms assigned and there will be a short briefing on the program and our facilities.

3.00 PM : Elephant - back safari : Guests will ride on elephant to explore jungle and wildlife the one - horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting rid lasts for 2 - 3 hours.

Slide Presentation : One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Royal Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome. Dinner in the central dining hall.

Day 02

6.00 AM: Wake-up call followed by tea or coffee, then proceed on a Nature walk. This encounter on foot with these environments will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan. Sal forest, open grassland and revering jungle. Our guides will help you identity some spices of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter.

8.00 AM : Breakfast.

9.00 AM : Elephant briefing program: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables. ( For the brave ones there is even a crash course in riding and leading the elephant.)

1.00 PM : Lunch at the poolside terrace.

Remaining hours before the afternoon program: take a deep in the pool, or relax on your verandah. Hammocks and the library are at your disposal.

4.00 PM : Canoeing : A traditional dugout canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti river to view aquatic birds and the animals of the riverbanks. Back to the Resort through the Jungle.

7.00 PM : Tharu stick dance : Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.

8.00 PM : Dinner around the campfire.

Day 03

6.00 AM : Wake up call and early breakfast to proceed to a whole day walk to the Churia hill when the pine vegetation exists. The introduce different vegetation of the Park and this is the habitat of the Wild Bison.

Arrive Machan at 5.30 PM.

Evening entertainment and dinner.

Day 04

5:30 AM : Bird watching ( or another elephant ride ) after early morning tea/coffee.

8:00 AM : Break fast.

10:00 AM : Drive to village, our naturalist will brief you about the social and cultural aspect of the villagers and will show you their lifestyle.

1:00 PM : Lunch.

4:00 PM : Elephant - back safari.

7:00 PM : Dinner after evening program.

Day 05

5:00 AM : Wake up called followed by tea or coffee, then proceed on a jeep drive to deep inside the sal forest where you may encounter different spices of deers and other animals.

8:00 AM : Breakfast.

9:00 AM : Departure to the return journey to Kathmandu or Pokhara.

The actual program for your stay with us will be given to you on arrival at Resort. The activities are adjusted to the length of your stay, the season and present weather conditions. Naturally, it may not always be possible to follow this schedule to the minute and the circumstances may force us to alter the program at short notice. On safari in the jungle you will be accompanied by our expert naturalists who will advise on safety procedures stroll in the forest alone, a guide will have to accompany you for your safety. Since this is tentative program, you are requested to consult our Operation - In - Charge for making different programs if you have special interest. For any suggestion or additional requests, our guides or the camp-in-charge will be happy to oblige you.
